UNITED GRADUATE COLLEGE AND SEMINARY INTERNATIONAL AWARDS HONORARY DOCTORATE TO GRENADA SENATOR

United Graduate College and Seminary International honored Hon. Winston Garraway with an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities on Saturday February 6, 2016 at the Youth Center in St. George Grenada. Hon. Garraway was honored for his outstanding labors for the betterment of his people in Grenada. Our Honor System has established a new culture. It is a culture that believes the ones that have done the job are worthy to receive the same title as those that have labored in the education system. An Honorary Award is given for what has been accomplished by the recipient. United Graduate College and Seminary International recognizes Hon. Garraway as an individual worthy of this honor. Dr. Eric Melwani, Representative for United Graduate College and Seminary International, along with Dr. Charles Karuku presented this Honorary Doctorate to Hon. Garraway. We are proud to welcome him to our UGCSI family.

Hon. Winston Garraway, Minister of State, Ministry of Youth, Sports and Religious Affairs and National Disaster Management Agency, has served his people in building outstanding leaders of all ages through training that has empowered, equipped and encouraged. He helped to establish a youth movement called, Youth on the Move. This movement, lead by the youth, was successful in establishing the furthering of community-based activities. Dr. Garraway served his people and community in the area of Sports Administration that in part led to his appointment in the Senate. As the Sports Administrator he was able to implement female Basketball into the Secondary schools and was instrumental in securing 15 athletic scholarships for both male and female student into Basketball programs in universities and colleges in the United States of America. Hon. Garraway continues to fulfill his life’s goals to better his people as he works alongside parents in the St. George’s Beaulieu New Testament School system.
