UGCSI REACHES AGAIN INTO ZAMBIA AFRICA

In January of 2017, in Lusaka Zambia, United Graduate College and Seminary International Chief Chancellor, Prof. Clyde Rivers and Vice Chancellor, Prof. Donella Pitzl had the honor of presenting an Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy in Humanities to Stanford Chifita. 

Our Honor System has established a new culture. It is a culture that believes the ones that have done the job are worthy to receive the same title as those that have labored in the education system. An Honorary Award is given for what has been accomplished by the recipient. UGCSI holds to a skills and philosophy education model. 

Stanford Chifita has more than exemplified UGCSI's skills and philosophy standard in his life's work to advance God's Kingdom through Television and Radio. He started from nothing, with little to any knowledge of what it would take to build his vision of having a broadcasting station. His hard work and creative mind created the largest digital Faith-based TV and Radio Station in Zambia. Within his business he is training young people in the art of broadcasting, reporting and the technical skills of broadcasting. His skills have created a philosophy that is creating jobs and teaching skills for life. He has been such a success that the country is looking to him to train other broadcasters in digital broadcasting. Zambia has been in an analogy system and is now requiring broadcaster to convert to digital. Revelation TV Broadcasting, Chifita's company, has been called upon to help the country in this conversion. 

Vice Chancellor, Prof. Donella Pitzl commented for this article. "I was privileged to present Stanford Chifita with his Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy in Humanities in Lusaka Zambia. This man was so humble and overwhelmed by this presentation. He later shared that he had been praying about what he should do because the country was going to require a degree for him to continue to own his own broadcasting company. When we met him and saw his work, Chief Chancellor Prof. Rivers and I felt we were to award him with this Honorary Degree. As it turned out, this was the answer to his prayers. He can now keep his life's work and move forward. It was an example of how powerful honor is and what can come from it. His work was an example of the heart of what UGCSI believes about skills and philosophy education."

Professor Clyde Rivers, Chief Chancellor of UGCSI commented, “Our international leadership is graced with men like Dr. Tom Musilli, Founder and Executive Director of Computers for Schools Kenya who has rebuilt and distributed over 350,000 computers into Africa. Bishop Arthur Kitonga, Overseer of over 23,000 churches and Dr. Nathan Kahara, Former President of the Red Cross in Kenya. With these brilliant minds collaborating UGCSI is excited about developing this new education model.”

At a meeting of the International Leadership Team in Kenya early in 2016, it was decided the Culture of Honor has played a large role in changing the mindset of education through our online Christian education institution. Our Honorary Doctorate Degree has been given to top individuals in the world. Our philosophy is that those that have gained their education by their life’s work and practical application are as skilled as those that have obtained their education through an education system. The United Graduate College and Seminary International African Leadership Team has discovered something very special. The individuals that have received a UGCSI Honorary Degree are at the top of their industries. This observation has caused us to decide to create a Skills Education Model that is based on practical experience. Turning this model into non-academic academia allows this Skills Education Model and Philosophy to redevelop the nations of the world with education that is proven to work for the betterment of people.

November 2015 on Capital Hill in Washington DC we had the honor to celebrate great individuals from over 25 nations around the world. The UGCSI family is growing and we are proud to welcome Dr. William Bush to the United Graduate College and Seminary International family. He works hard to create cooperation in education and sports as well as agriculture, industry, commerce and culture. UGCSI STUDENT VISITS BURUNDI AFRICA

This summer, 2014, a delegation of interested people set off for the Republic of Burundi, Africa to attend their National Youth Conference. They were able to observe and discover first hand an amazing phenomenon. Burundi Africa is experiencing growth and change. The people are uniting to build their nation into something they can be proud of.

One of the youth delegates, Marisa Dean, a student with United Graduate College and Seminar International, had this to say about her experiences. "I wanted to understand how groups of people actually create change from the lens of looking at a whole country. Understanding their needs and the correct way to supply those needs." She went on to tell us after her visit and experiencing the environment of Burundi, "In my observation, Burundi is being structurally rebuilt under new principles, under the alignment of Godly principles." Miss Dean expressed how she observed the effect of this in the peaceful environment throughout the country. She said, "It was inspiring."

Professor Albert Nasasagare, the Founder of Youth in Action Coalition, kicked off his national campaign in the county of Burundi Africa last week. There were four Youth in Action Coalition Training Centers opened, in four different Providences in the country of Burundi this month. United Graduate College and Seminary International's, Chancellor Prof. Michal Pitzl, had the privilege of attending the monumental gathering.

Burundi's Ambassador at Large, Ambassador Clyde Rivers commented saying, “This is a very important day for Burundi Africa because the young people of the nation are establishing training centers to help other youth become entrepreneurs. Any nation of the world that sees their youth taking initiative to create business in their nation will be a force in the economics of the world. What I appreciate the most about the young people of this country – they are taking responsibility for the leadership and the economic empowerment of their own nation. What a great day for the Republic of Burundi Africa!”
